Supporting those who support others

About Me

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a longstanding commitment to trauma-informed care, ethical practice, and community well-being. Over the past thirty years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, families, and professionals across a range of settings in New Mexico and beyond.

In 2025, I founded Desert Bloom Consulting as a way to offer steady, thoughtful support to those doing the work of healing - therapists, leaders, healing professionals who are seeking to grow with integrity and care.

My path has included many roles - from early work in biofeedback and public health education to outpatient psychotherapy, supervision, and emergency psychiatric care. Since 2020, I’ve led Compass Rose Psychotherapy, a group practice grounded in relational, trauma-informed work, where I continue to serve as a clinician and mentor.

I’ve also spent many years supporting colleagues, guiding teams, and contributing to trauma-informed systems in community clinics, hospitals, and crisis response settings. These experiences have deepened my respect for the complexity of helping work - and for the strength it takes to keep showing up with presence, clarity, and compassion.

Desert Bloom Consulting grew from the belief that those who hold sacred space for others, also need spaces of reflection, restoration, and honest conversation. Whether through consultation, professional development, or retreats, I aim to offer grounded, collaborative support rooted in both lived experience and shared humanity.

If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with your work, clarify your path, or simply be met with care, I’d be honored to walk beside you.

MY APPROACH

With over 30 years of experience, my approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in systems thinking. I believe growth happens in spaces that are safe, curious, and grounded in real-world complexity. Whether in consultation or in a retreat setting, I hold space for meaningful reflection, practical insight, and deep professional alignment.

Helping healers feel reflective, resourced, and rooted in their values.
